MMK Video Tour Wins Best Corporate Video Award

Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works’ (MMK) video about the plant’s thick-sheet rolling mill 4500, created as part of a project offering video tours of MMK’s production site, won the top prize in the Best Corporate Video 2023 competition in the category for videos of corporate museums, virtual tours and industrial tourism. The awards ceremony took place in Moscow during the 12th Moscow International Corporate Video Festival.

The video about the mill 4500 gives viewers an inside look into one of MMK’s most legendary facilities. With a rich history, the mill has worked to this today, and thanks to technical upgrades, continues to manufacture sought-after products.

Like MMK’s other virtual tours, the award-winning video offers a unique opportunity to see MMK facilities and production sites that typically are not accessible during in-person tours of the Company’s production site.

The expert jury noted the video’s high production quality and unique content, which, apart from its educational function, enables viewers to see the work of MMK and its employees. The video also helps both newcomers and experienced professionals learn more about the Company as they choose a career path or place of employment.

MMK launched its video-tour project in 2020 to give the broader public an opportunity to learn about the Company’s various production processes and facilities, as well as the plant’s proud history and recent achievements. The project, which continues to be developed, has produced seven video tours of the plant and its divisions so far, all of which are accessible on MMK’s website and social media.
