MMK adopted the 2020 Environmental Programme that included 105 initiatives, of which 98 were implemented in the reporting period and 7 projects are in progress in 2021.

In 2020, expenses on the initiatives totalled $74.6 million, including $55.9 million for capital construction.

The Group's overall environmental expenses amounted to $109.3 million, or 1.5% of its revenue. The share of environmental expenses in the Group’s revenue remained flat vs 2019.
