MMK-METIZ launches new system for ordering vehicles with no downtime or delays

MMK-METIZ and Motor Transport Management LLC (part of MMK Group) are launching a project called Cargo Taxi, a new vehicle ordering system aimed at making this part of the production process more efficient.

The Cargo Taxi project was introduced by MMK-METIZ’s project office for improving operational efficiency. Staff from the project office developed the algorithms for the system and took part in every stage of the implementation process, from the development of new functions to the system’s incorporation.

One of the main benefits of the new system is that it reduces the waiting time for vehicles by using the latest technologies for placing and monitoring orders: with the help of specially developed algorithms, the Cargo Taxi system can quickly adapt to production needs and choose the most suitable vehicle for transportation purposes. The new system will also speed up the delivery of cargo to the end user.

Another important benefit of the Cargo Taxi system is that it reduces vehicle downtime and the company’s associated costs. Every order is planned in detail and coordinated with the customer, which saves a lot of time and resources.

The system is currently undergoing thorough testing, and logistics bottlenecks at MMK-METIZ are being identified.
