MMK Ranked Among Russia’s Top Employers

PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) came out in joint fourth place in the list of Russia's best employers, according to RBC Market Research. In total, more than 80 of Russia’s largest companies and non-profit organisations from various sectors of the economy are represented in the ranking.

MMK scored 64.7 points, becoming one of 13 companies to be named as “high performers” in the ranking. The survey looked at indicators including salary levels, opportunities for additional training and professional development, staff turnover, the amount of social support for employees, as well as companies' investments in business development, environmental protection and charitable contributions. The questionnaires of all participants were verified and used as part of the final ranking.

Among MMK's strengths, the analysts highlighted job conditions and working environment, including high salaries and investment in staff training, a numerous social benefits, and the amount of investment in business development. According to the rating's authors, companies with the highest scores can be characterised by a high level of business reliability and a strong business reputation.

MMK regularly places highly in the rankings of the best employers. In November 2021, Forbes together with KPMG named MMK among the companies that received an overall ‘gold’ ranking of the best employers, placing it among the leaders in the metallurgical field. This year, MMK was also a finalist in the prestigious Investors in People Awards 2022, in the highest gold category. The new ranking from RBC Market Research includes companies from a variety of industries, including IT and e-commerce, mining, manufacturing, finance and insurance.
