MMK Adopts Updated Quality Policy

The new version of the Company's key document was approved by CEO Pavel Shilyaev. The policy is regularly reviewed to be as up-to-date as possible and defines the main principles and objectives of PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works in the field of quality, which in turn are based on the principles of sustainable development and the goal of creating value for all stakeholders by achieving the best results in all business dimensions.

The Company views the document as the basis for its further development in line with the requirements and expectations of its customers, shareholders, employees, suppliers, partners and other stakeholders.

The main goal of MMK in the field of quality is the development and production of high-quality, competitive metal products that fully meet the requirements, requests and expectations of domestic and international consumers and ensure the Company's stable financial position. The Company focuses on a quality management system based on the process approach and risk-based thinking that meets the requirements of national and global standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and others.

To achieve its goals, MMK is developing an effective supplier selection and development system, improving the quality of management, involving each and every employee in the process of continuous improvement of product quality and its planning at the development stage through the introduction of modern methods, technical design tools and advanced technologies, ensuring control and continuously improving the quality management system within the Company and the MMK Group entities.

To fulfil the tasks set and achieve the main goal, MMK staff – from a rank-and-file employee to the CEO – assumes responsibility and obligations to ensure the quality of manufactured metal products and implement the quality policy.
