MMK to present products at Cairo exhibition

Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works will take part in the international exhibition Metal & Steel Middle East 2023, which will take place in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on 2–4 September.

Egypt is one of the key countries in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, which is one of MMK’s priority export markets. According to WorldSteel, the demand for steel in the MENA region, which has a population of about 430 million people, will increase to 70 million tonnes in 2023 and will continue to grow in the future. This creates excellent business opportunities for steelmakers, including MMK.

Visitors to the Company’s exhibition stand will be able to learn about the technological capabilities of one of Russia’s largest steelmakers, while also getting an introduction to MMK’s products, including hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils, long products, coated products and products made from high-strength steels.

The Metal & Steel Middle East exhibition has been held annually since 2010 and is one of the largest forums in the Middle East and Africa dedicated to all aspects of the metals industry, from production to processing to trade. The exhibition also serves as a platform for business meetings and networking with suppliers of raw materials, semi-finished and finished steel products as well as equipment and technologies for the production and processing of ferrous metals.
