MMK’s Online Marketplace Once Again Named Best in the Industry

PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works’ (MMK) online trading platform came out on top in the competition for the Best Internet Project 2022 among steel and metal trading companies in Russia and the CIS. The annual competition was organised by the leading industry magazine Metal Supply and Sales, with support from the Russian Union of Metal Suppliers and the International Industrial Exhibition Metal-Expo 2022.

On November 11, the expert jury named MMK's Marketplace as the Best Online Marketplace in the “E-Commerce” category The competition looked at around 50 steel and metal trading companies that operate in the ferrous and non-ferrous metals markets in Russia and the CIS, as well as machine builders, metalworkers, foundry workers, metal structure and tool manufacturers, to identify the best online solutions that create effective contacts between manufacturers and customers. MMK’s Marketplace previously won awards in the 2021 competition, where it was named Best Adaptive and Mobile-Friendly Website in the “Mobility” category and Best Online Marketplace in the “E-Commerce” category.

Since April 2021, MMK has developed its Marketplace by expanding the range of steel products available from MMK Group companies. The online store has a user-friendly catalogue and personal account options for both individuals and companies. It offers various options for integration with customer information systems and external services, as well as features ‘buy in one click’ and ‘express checkout’ options that automatically calculate order price and delivery costs. Customers can choose from a variety of payment methods, including bank card for retail customers, invoice payments for businesses, as well as deferred or credit payments.
