MMK’s new cryogenic plant produces 100 mln cu m of industrial gases
The RUB 4.2 billion unit was built on the site of MMK's oxygen plant No. 5 in July 2018.
The cryogenic air separation unit (ASU) KdAdAr-35/30, developed and manufactured by the Moscow-based company Cryogenmash, generates 35,000 m3 / hour of gaseous oxygen, 30,000 m3 / hour of gaseous nitrogen, 600 m3 / hour of gaseous argon, as well as some liquid output.
The unit is based on a modern cycle with internal compression of air separation products, which allows gas processing under the required pressure without the use of additional compressors. Such technology means the equipment is safer and more reliable.
