MMK presents new catalogue of products for carmakers in English

The new catalogue of products with references to car parts (http://eng.mmk.ru/auto/) will help carmakers to choose the required steel grades depending on the purpose of the end product (part). The catalogue includes pictures of various parts based on a real car by a Russian manufacturer, as well as information about MMK’s steel grades required to produce such car parts. Currently, the section includes 29 car parts, with new items to be added in due course.

This catalogue was created by MMK specialists in cooperation with consumers. It includes comprehensive data presented in a convenient format with easy navigation and should, therefore, meet with consumer expectations. The catalogue is aimed at designers, engineers and the manufacturing and procuring personnel of car manufacturing companies - all experts in choosing steel grades to be used in production.

Recently, MMK also published an interactive catalogue of products produced at the plant for carmakers, sorted by type and grade of steel (http://eng.mmk.ru/catalogs/metal_products/automotive_industry/). The catalogue is divided into sections on various steel grades. Consumers are able to find data on chemical composition, mechanical characteristics, thickness, sizes and other features of the steel grades.
