MMK Trading House recognised as leader in import substitution

Competitive Sales Leader is an annual professional competition for companies involved in corporate and public procurement on electronic trading platforms.

The award is organised by B2B-Center. This year, 440 companies from all over Russia entered in the nine categories. Each participant's project was evaluated by a jury consisting of independent market experts. As a result, the highest scores were given to companies that achieved a significant increase in sales through the introduction of modern technologies and management practices.

MMK Trading House was awarded the title of Leader of Import Substitution, for which they were evaluated not only on the number of contracts for import substitution with Russian goods, but also on customer feedback. The award reflects the high appreciation of MMK's efforts to consistently develop the production of import-substituting products and the numerous times it has been awarded the national 'Priority' award in the field of import substitution.

MMK Trading House is an authorised representative of MMK for all regions of Russia and in the republic of Kazakhstan. Its main task is to sell metal products produced by MMK or other MMK Group enterprises. MMK Trading House represents one of the most dynamic metal trading networks in the country, currently comprising 31 separate structural units in Russia covering all the leading industrial centres, as well as five structural units in Kazakhstan. In 2018, the sales volume of MMK Trading House exceeded 1.7 mln tonnes.
