MMK launches a programme-controlled robot RPA to collect and systematize price quotes for raw materials

The new software solution saves the time of the Commercial Department specialists, giving them the opportunity to focus on an expert assessment of the current situation and trends of the raw material component of ferrous metallurgy in Russia and in the world.

The robot collects data from various sources in a single report for each group of raw materials: coal, ferroalloys, iron ore raw materials, refractory materials, electrodes. It can read PDF files and other electronic formats, analyze the information of online publications with personalized access. The programme checks the correctness of the quotes data: when inconsistencies are detected, the system user receives a message.

The work done allows the user to start solving problems such as the synthesis and systematization of the data obtained with the output in a ready analytical report, in automatic mode.
