MMK METIZ to enter the Northern European market
MMK METIZ received a certificate of compliance in accordance with the requirements contained in paragraphs 1 and 3 of the prEN standard 10138: 2006 (Sweden) for reinforced cables with diameters of 9.3 mm, 12.5 mm, 15.2 mm and 15.7 mm.
Members of the Swedish certification company confirmed that MMK METIZ carry out effective controls on technological processes used in the production of reinforced cables with the specified diameters, and also carries out a sufficient number of tests on frequency and volume. This guarantees the customer a high quality product. Reinforced stabilising ropes are widely used in the construction and bridge – building industries. Pretensioned reinforcement cables are provisionally used to strengthen concrete structures such as roads, multilevel car parks, entertainment centres, as well as in the manufacturing of other concrete products. High–carbon steel is the raw material used to produce reinforced cables.
According to Oleg Shiryaev, Director of MMK METIZ, this certification will allow the company to increase its product range and expand into new markets.
