MMK provides financial aid to people affected by tragedy in Magnitogorsk
MMK’s CEO Pavel Shilyaev said: “Today we transferred RUB 10 mln to a special fundraising account to provide timely support and help meet the immediate needs of those most affected by this tragedy.”
Individuals and organisations have already transferred more than RUB 7.7 mln to the account. The funds raised are being distributed among those affected by the Ministry for Social Relations in the Chelyabinsk Region. Recipients include relatives of those who died or were injured, people who lost their homes and assets, as well as those evacuated from the damaged housing and currently in temporary accommodation.
MMK’s Chairman Victor Rashnikov has ordered that additional target support be provided to those affected by the tragedy.
