MMK takes part in major industry trade fair INNOPROM

Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) is taking part in the 14th INNOPROM international industry trade fair, which gets under way in Ekaterinburg today at the Ekaterinburg-EXPO international exhibition centre.

MMK’s booth is part of a collective stand representing the Chelyabinsk region. MMK, a regular participant at INNOPROM, will present a wide range of its products and technological capabilities, with an emphasis on steel products for the machine-building industry. The Company will display its line of high-strength and wear-resistant steels produced under the MAGSTRONG brand. These are import-substituting products that have a wide range of applications and surpass imported analogues in terms of several features. MAGSTRONG rolled steel products are designed for road-building, mining, shaft-sinking, crushing, agricultural and other equipment as well as load-bearing welded structures.

In addition to exhibition stands, INNOPROM has arranged an extensive business programme for participants that includes conferences, symposiums, roundtables, business meetings, discussions of topical issues at dedicated sessions as well as other interdisciplinary events. MMK’s delegation at the event is headed by the Company’s CEO, Pavel Shilyaev, who will take part in a business breakfast titled “Russian Industry: Responding to Challenges”, where Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, will be one of the speakers.

INNOPROM 2024 is being held 8–11 July in Ekaterinburg, with over 700 Russian and international participants taking part, and more than 46 thousand people expected to visit the event.
