MMK develops construction projects in St Petersburg
Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Synergy JSC, a company that carries out landmark construction projects in St Petersburg. The corresponding document was signed by MMK CEO Pavel Shilyaev and Synergy CEO Victoria Nenadyshina on June 5, on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Synergy intends to increase the efficiency of its design solutions and maximise the involvement of Russian-made products in its projects. An important step towards achieving this goal will be the company’s partnership with MMK, which is among the world's largest steel producers and holds a leading position among Russian ferrous metallurgy enterprises.
MMK is considering the possibility of covering 100% of the needs of the St Petersburg-based company and the contractors involved in implementing Synergy’s projects in St Petersburg. The cooperation agreement signed by the companies at SPIEF will be valid for a period of five years.
